Do you want to work closely with both people and employers and contribute to providing more opportunities for work? Mullsjö Municipality is now looking for an education leader who wants to help develop our new education and labor market activities.

In spring 2026, the municipality will start a new operation where adult education, financial assistance, integration, and the labor market unit will be gathered. The goal is to guide, educate, and coach residents towards work or studies and strengthen the path to self-sufficiency.

In this role, you will have a central function in supporting individuals who are far from the labor market and developing collaborations with local employers, associations, and other actors. Internship opportunities and labor market policy positions will be created and followed up within both the business sector and municipal operations.

Within the operation, there is also the Service Group in Mullsjö, which performs municipal tasks including property services, land maintenance, cleaning, laundry, and vehicle maintenance. Here, work preparation tasks are combined with labor market policy positions.

Training will also be provided in labor market knowledge and various vocational tracks in close collaboration with educational providers and employers. The operation also includes the municipality's responsibility for youth activities, adult education, and the reception and settlement of newcomers.

Together with managers and colleagues, you will contribute to developing and driving the operation forward. The work is characterized by collaboration, participation, and a strong belief in individuals' own abilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Together with managers and colleagues, you will be responsible for building and implementing a new educational program for adults who are far from the labor market, such as youth, foreign-born individuals, or people facing challenges related to health and life situation.

You will educate participants in labor market knowledge covering topics such as social orientation, written and unwritten rules of the workplace, job searching, CVs and applications, interview techniques, and basic IT skills.

You will develop educational materials, tests, and assessment criteria. The education will be conducted for about 12 hours per week in blocks of 10-12 weeks, with the start of new groups 4-5 times a year. A total of about 20 people will participate per session, divided into two groups. Assessment will be based on pass or fail.

The role also includes individual follow-up conversations and coaching to support participants' development towards work or studies. If necessary, external speakers from authorities, associations, schools, or employers may be invited, and teaching may also be conducted together with colleagues.

A colleague will have primary responsibility for developing the Industrial Track in Mullsjö, focusing on collaboration with the municipality's industrial companies and increasing job opportunities for participants. You will be involved in this initiative through educational components and study visits.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You have a degree from a university and are likely a teacher or social scientist with a strong pedagogical inclination, passionate about motivating, developing, and educating individuals who, for various reasons, have not had it easy in life. Your goal is for your participants to gain entry to the labor market through studies or paid work.
• You have the ability to engage your audience and know how to create active lessons and lively teaching.
• You have good knowledge of how society and the labor market function and know what an employer requires and how authorities and the education system are structured.
• You thrive with a high degree of personal responsibility, and your ability to collaborate with others is strong.
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy thinking outside the box and established patterns to help others achieve results.
• You are highly adaptable to change and have no problem understanding other operations or building services that have not previously existed, where you primarily set the framework yourself.
• You express yourself fluently in Swedish.
• Good knowledge of the Office suite.
• Driver's license B.
